‘Together in God’s loving family, we believe, we learn, we grow.’
Hello everyone, welcome to the first pupil's news blog. We will be uploading the latest news and events in our school on a regular basis.
It has been one of the best Decembers ever! On the 1st December the whole school went to the Civic Theatre to watch Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The classes walk in pairs to The Civic Theatre, we are Year 6 pupils which meant we walked with Foundation class, this is such fun as we get to spend time with the younger pupils.
We are a Catholic School and Christmas to us is remembering and celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ on the 25th December. Every year Key Stage 1 re-enact 'The Nativity', this year's production was slightly different because they flitted from the past to the present.
Last week we had our school Christmas lunch combined with a Christmas jumper day. Everyone was asked to pay £1 to wear a jumper, in total we raised £154.54. The money raised went to Save the Children.
Thank you for reading our blog, we wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!
