‘Together in God’s loving family, we believe, we learn, we grow.’
St. Pius X took part in the first Year 3 and 4 cross country race at Hylands Park. The Year 3 girls ran first followed by the Year 3 boys. The Year 4 girls and boys ran later.
We are pleased to report that St Pius X came first for the Year 3 girls and Year 3 boys’ team came 3rd overall. This was the first lower key stage 2 race and there is another race next month. We hope the Year 5 and 6 teams will do just as well next week and we wish them…
Year 5 and Year 6 ran the first upper KS2 cross country race at Chelmer Park yesterday. Both teams did very well and should be proud of themselves. Year 5’s races were before the Year 6’s.
They ran with great energy and represented St Pius X proudly. We all were very proud of them. They have set a target to beat for next time in October.
On Tuesday, 29th September, Peter Mynard visited our school to talk about the new Dodgeball club he is hoping to set up in our area. Peter was very impressed by the questioning of the pupils and the enthusiasm they showed.
If anyone is interested in gaining further information, please contact Peter.
