On behalf of the Governing Body of St Pius X Catholic Primary School, views are being sought on the proposed admission arrangements for September 2026 entry.

In line with our statutory duties and the Schools Admissions Code we have made changes to our admissions arrangements for 2026 - 2027 which we must now consult on ahead of the changes being determined.

The proposed changes are as follows:

1. A reduction in our over subscription criteria, amalgamating our previous 4 catholic criteria to create a new simplified criterion ‘other Catholic Children, as evidenced by a certificate of baptism.’
2. A change to our provisions that will be applied to the oversubscription criteria, so that only siblings and distance will be considered within each criterion.

The six -week consultation period will run from Tuesday 5^th November to Tuesday 17^th December (midday) 2024.
