Hot meals are freshly prepared and cooked on the premises by our catering team. The school has achieved the Advanced Healthy Schools Award and the ingredients used in our hot meals are fresh and, where possible, locally sourced. Essex School Meals Service are our consultants of choice and are committed to helping schools provide a first-class catering service. All of our meals meet government requirements guidelines. 

We have a 3-week rolling menu which is circulated to parents, via email, in advance, so that children can select which days they would like to eat. Children in KS1 are entitled to a school meal free of charge under the Universal Free School Meal Scheme. Meals for children in KS2 are currently priced at £2.50 per day, payable in advance (please refer to our Dinner Money Policy for more information about payment). All pre-ordered dinners will be charged for unless your child is absent, or you have given the school advanced notification that a meal no longer needs to be provided.
