Breakfast Club
AIMS
- To offer a safe, secure and friendly environment in which children can enjoy a healthy nutritious breakfast under the supervision of qualified staff.
- In accordance with the school’s healthy eating ethos to provide a nutritious breakfast served in a relaxed and supervised environment.
- To enhance the community spirit and contribute towards the extended school role.
OPENING TIMES:
The Breakfast Club is open term time only, Monday to Friday, from 7.45am to 8.40am.
Breakfast is served between 7:45am and 8:00am.
ACTIVITIES:
Breakfast Club is held in the school hall. When children arrive, a breakfast, comprising of cereal, toast, yoghurt, water or milk is served. After breakfast the children are provided with a number of activities that they can take part in including colouring, use of computer equipment, reading or watching a film. At the end of Breakfast Club, the children will proceed directly to their classrooms for registration.
FEES AND PAYMENT:
The cost of Breakfast Club is £3.00 per day for each child. This fee will be charged even if your child is absent and does not attend.
ADMISSIONS:
The club is fully inclusive for children from Reception to Year 6. The club has a maximum of 48 children. When applying for the club, parents should identify how many days a week they require. Places are allocated using the following priority tiers:
1) To children who have a sibling already in attendance at breakfast club.
2) To those who wish to attend the club 5 days a week.
3) To all other applications where availability is matched to requirement.
Where there are more applicants than spaces in the same priority tier, requests will be met “on a first come first served basis”.
