Headteacher- Mrs Sharon Derbyshire

I became Headteacher of St Pius X Catholic Primary School in September 2017.  It was very important to me to find a Headship within the Catholic sector as I firmly believe that Catholic schools are unique in how they prepare children for the wider world.  The children at St Pius X know how much I love my animals and I will often incorporate Lucy the Dog, Danny the horse and my three cats into our whole school assemblies, along with photographs!  I feel very privileged to be the leader of a wonderful school community where everyone works incredibly hard to help the children achieve their full potential.
