*Home Learning Update*
A Google Classroom has been set up for Foundation Class! You will receive information from the School Office this week (wk/b 27.4.20) regarding login details. Please see the document below 'Google Classroom Instructions' for step by step instructions on how to access the Classroom. All you will need is a device with access to the internet. Every week I will post new ideas of activities you can do at home to support your child's learning. (These are not compulsory so please don't feel pressured to complete everything.) On Google Classroom you will be able to ask questions, post comments and upload photos if you wish. This week's activities are all related to the lovely Julia Donaldson story The Snail and the Whale. (Please see the document below.) As usual, if you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact the school office.

*Home Learning During School Closures*
Hello Foundation Class parents! We hope you are well and enjoying time with your children! We miss them very much! There is no pressure to keep up with what children would have been doing at school during this time, but naturally you will want to support your child's continuing development so please dip into the ideas and resources here as you see fit. You should all have received a Parent Mail with a list of recommended websites to keep your children learning whilst at home. A copy of this list can be found below. In addition to these websites, please also check out the link below to MrMCMakingMemories.com where you will find some more excellent resources and advice. If you don't have the app 'Teach Your Monster To Read' then I highly recommend it! It is a fun, phonics game which progresses at each individual child's pace. It's around £4.99 on a phone or tablet but you can play for free on a computer! (Link below.) And Oxford Owl are currently offering their full library of e-books for free. (Link below.) They have a fabulous range of books for all stages so do check them out and keep listening to your children read as often as you can. Keep an eye on this page for updates and in the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact the school office.
