Half Moon Investigations, by Eoin Colfer

This is a tale about 12-year-old fully-licensed private detective, called Fletcher Moon. Fletcher comes across some serious crimes that have been taking place in his town; much more serious than the minor mysteries he’s been solving at school and home. And of course, to add to the commotion, there’s always a girl involved. It seems Fletcher may be in more trouble than he’s ever been in – and that’s trouble with a capital T.
